By accessing or using মুঠোখবর (muthokhobor.com) and its services (shorts, videos, search, notifications, reader accounts) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. Both exist in Bangla and English; where they differ, the Bangla version prevails.

• We publish short summaries (“shorts”), written in our own words, of news reported by established Bangladeshi outlets. Technology (AI) assists with drafts; an editor reviews before publication.
• Every short carries the original publisher’s name, logo and a direct link to the original report.
• Videos and short videos are embedded from the outlets’ official YouTube channels; we host no video on our servers.
• The list of aggregated outlets is on the Sources page. Our purpose is to send readers to the original publishers, not to replace them.

Commercial republication, bulk copying, automated scraping/crawling (beyond standard search-engine indexing) and unauthorised use of our feeds or APIs are prohibited without written permission.

If you are a rights holder (or their authorised representative) and want content removed from this site:

   The short/page link(s) in question and proof of your rights (an official organisational email or credentials).

   After verification the content is removed, typically within 72 hours, and we confirm to you.

   Permanent exclusion (optional)

   On request all current and future content from your publication is permanently excluded from aggregation.

• You must be at least 13 and provide an accurate name and email.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity on your account. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
• One account per person; impersonation is prohibited.
• You may delete your account any time from your profile; we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The site may be used for personal, non-commercial and lawful purposes. The following are prohibited:

• Publishing false, misleading or fraudulent information; fabricated quotes.
• Defaming, threatening or harassing any person or organisation.
• Inciting hatred based on ethnicity, religion, race, gender or origin; inciting violence.
• Posting obscene or otherwise offensive content.
• Automated scraping, bots, bulk downloads, circumventing rate limits, unauthorised server access or spreading malware.
• Violating Bangladesh’s cyber-security laws or any other applicable law.

Violations may lead to content removal, account termination, restricted access and, where necessary, legal action.

By posting comments, reactions or profile details you confirm the content is yours, infringes nobody’s rights and is not false, misleading or harassing. You grant মুঠোখবর a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store and (per policy) moderate it on the site — ending when you delete the content.

মুঠোখবর may remove content that violates its policies without notice. Comments are the opinions of their authors, not of মুঠোখবর.

Browser notifications are enabled only with your explicit consent and can be turned off at any time. If you have an account we may send essential service emails (security, policy changes); marketing emails are never sent without consent.

মুঠোখবর is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or policies of original-report links, YouTube embeds or any other external site. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

• All content is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Summaries are based on the original reports — responsibility for the accuracy of the underlying reporting rests with the publisher. If a source article is later updated or corrected, our short may not reflect it immediately.
• Where a summary of ours is wrong, we correct or remove it promptly; that is the primary remedy.
• To the extent permitted by law, মুঠোখবর is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from reader decisions, use of information, or external links.

• We may modify, update, limit or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
• Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance or technical reasons.
• Accounts or access may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Both parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, the competent courts of Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction.

• Updated Terms are published on this page and the date above changes.
• For significant changes we post a site notice and email registered readers.
• Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
